Anscer Robotics Debuts Compact AMR for Factory Floor Cart Handling

Robots and Cobots

Anscer Robotics, industry experts in Next-Gen AMR solutions, has announced the commercial launch of a new compact Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) designed to automate the manual movement of carts, racks, and trolleys. The AMR is already in active deployment across electronics, plastics, and automotive supply chains, offering a cart-compatible, space-conscious alternative to traditional material handling solutions.

“Material movement may not always grab headlines, but it’s the silent drain on factory efficiency,” said Mark Messina, CEO of Anscer Americas. “The LBR500 isn’t just another robot—it’s a right-sized solution that fits directly into real-world workflows, increasing throughput while preserving valuable production space.”

The new AMR eliminates the need for forklifts or bulky fixed-path automation to handle cart transport. Its low-profile lift platform and full omnidirectional mobility allow it to navigate narrow aisles and tight spaces, maximizing cart compatibility without requiring infrastructure changes or wide turn clearances.

Built for Work-in-Progress and Flexible Logistics

Designed to support factory environments where work-in-progress (WIP) materials, raw goods, or finished items are still being manually transported, the AMR enables more efficient flow while freeing personnel to focus on skilled tasks. In logistics, the system addresses value-added services (VAS) such as kitting, sorting, and repackaging, where flexible automation outperforms large-scale conveyance solutions.

“The LBR500 is actively being deployed by leading electronics manufacturers and automotive suppliers,” Messina added, “where it’s eliminating unnecessary motion and enabling line workers to focus on skilled tasks, not cart-pushing.”

With a focus on simplicity and adaptability, the robot integrates directly into existing workflows, reducing downtime and increasing output with minimal facility modification.
