AW-Lake has introduced its TG Series gas turbine flow meter, marking the company’s first entry into turbine-based flow measurement for gases. Designed for precision, repeatability, and durability, the TG Series provides a dependable solution for engineers, plant managers, and process designers seeking accurate gas flow data in demanding environments.

Unlike thermal or differential pressure technologies, the TG Series is noted for its fast response time and exceptional repeatability. Built with rugged stainless-steel construction, it offers ±1.0% linearity and ±0.1% repeatability, with flow ranges from 5 to 1250 ACFM. It supports operating pressures up to 15,000 psi and temperatures ranging from -450°F to +450°F, or up to 850°F with a special coil. Standard connection options include grooved, NPT, flanged, or wafer, with materials including a 316 stainless-steel body, 17-4 PH rotor, and 440C stainless-steel bearings. The TG Series also carries CRN certification, ISO 9001 compliance, and NIST-traceable calibration.

Optimized for clean, dry gas applications, the TG Series integrates seamlessly into systems that demand dependable performance and long service life. According to the company, its robust build makes it particularly suitable for industries where reliable gas flow data is mission-critical.

The TG Series is ideal for a wide range of applications, including fuel gas monitoring for industrial burners and boilers, compressed air metering, CNG flow tracking, and inert gas measurement in packaging and process systems.
