Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Santa Cruz, California, Raytek Corporation was an early pioneer in infrared temperature 
measurement. It has since become part of FLIR Systems (subsequently acquired by Teledyne), expanding its product line into high-performance infrared thermometers and thermal imaging devices.
Raytek’s offerings include handheld and fixed-mount infrared pyrometers, thermal imaging cameras, and temperature measurement systems designed for non-contact monitoring. Its devices deliver accurate readings in industrial environments where surface temperature monitoring is essential, including high-temperature OEM applications.
Raytek serves industrial process industries such as metal production, glass, ceramics, plastics, power utilities, and energy management. Its infrared systems enable thermal profiling, preventive maintenance, process diagnostics, and safety monitoring where direct contact sensors are impractical or unsafe.
