Vaisala Debuts Circular Probe Recalibration, Reuse Service

Vaisala has introduced Vaisala Circular, a comprehensive probe recalibration and reuse service designed to improve measurement uptime, accuracy, and sustainability across industrial and process control applications.

Under the new program, customers maintain a dedicated pool of measurement probes stored and serviced by Vaisala. When recalibration is required, replacement probes are quickly shipped from Vaisala’s facilities, allowing operators to swap them in with minimal disruption. Used probes are then returned to Vaisala for recalibration, certification, and reuse, with full warranty coverage maintained throughout the Circular service term.

“As the designer, developer, and manufacturer of measurement probes, we are in the best position to maintain them and deliver long-term value for customers,” said Shan Gao, Director of Vaisala’s Global Service Line. “Our testing, maintenance, and calibration processes are so rigorous that probes are returned to operation in as-new condition, supported by full certification. When Vaisala probes are maintained according to specifications, they can be expected to last for more than a decade.”

Vaisala Circular supports the widest range of measurement parameters currently available in its category, including humidity, dew point, temperature, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen peroxide. By assuming full responsibility for probe management, Vaisala helps process operators achieve more consistent measurement performance while optimizing maintenance costs and reducing waste.
